Some character design and style research I did during the Women in Concept Art Studio Jam.
I had an amazing time with the team! (Alex Marusca, Aurora Stark and Nichelle Tehunan :))
Train to the Afterlife is an animated Agatha Christie inspired animated project, set in the 1920s aboard a train to an unknown destination. As the passengers wake up with no memory of where they are headed, they begin to vanish one by one at each stop. Although this appears to be their final journey, the detective protagonist investigates the mystery, and finds herself strangely drawn to one of the passengers as she gets closer to the truth... They're in hell, and the reaper is amongst them.
